The annual Dawn Chorus walk will be led this year by Mervyn Greening, the chairman of Gloucestershire Naturalists’ Society – a ‘self-confessed wildlife nut with a particular passion for orchids and birds.’
Wellies or strong boots essential!
A gentle walk round the orchard listening to the dawn chorus. Meet at Hartpury Orchard Centre in Blackwell’s End at 5am. Toast and tea to follow!
